Katy Perry is coming to Prishtina for Sunny Hill Festival 2026.
The global pop star will headline one of Kosovo's biggest music events as Sunny Hill Festival returns to the capital from 31 July to 2 August. Here is what visitors need to know before Prishtina's biggest weekend of the summer.
A major pop arrival for Prishtina
Katy Perry, the voice behind some of modern pop's most recognizable anthems, is set to take the Sunny Hill Stage this summer. Her appearance gives the 2026 edition one of its biggest international names yet and puts Prishtina firmly on Europe's festival map.
She will be joined by Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi and Dutch electronic music star Martin Garrix. The wider program moves between pop, house, techno, regional talent, and emerging artists across the festival's stages, with PAWSA, Seth Troxler, Adam Port & Rampa of Keinemusik, Carlita, Blanco, and Manifest among the announced acts.
Three days, one citywide atmosphere
Sunny Hill Festival 2026 takes place on Friday 31 July, Saturday 1 August, and Sunday 2 August at Sunny Hill Festival Park in Bernica, Prishtina. Founded by the Lipa family, the festival has grown into one of Southeast Europe's leading music events and now draws visitors from Kosovo, the region, and farther abroad.
The energy does not stay inside the festival grounds. During Sunny Hill weekend, the capital fills with pop-up events, late dinners, busy terraces, and festival crowds. It is one of the most exciting times to experience Prishtina—but also one of the busiest.
Planning to attend? Book the essentials early
Festival tickets are sold through the official Sunny Hill Festival website and are exchanged for a wristband at the venue. Visitors should carry valid identification and check the official rules before arriving. The festival advises arriving several hours early, as queues and traffic are likely during peak periods.
Accommodation is just as important. Rooms across Prishtina become limited as the weekend approaches, while taxis and other transport can be under extra pressure late at night. Reserve your stay, save your accommodation address, and plan the journey back before heading to the festival.
Make a full Prishtina weekend of it
The festival may be the headline, but the city deserves time of its own. Leave a relaxed morning for coffee around Mother Teresa Boulevard, visit the NEWBORN Monument and National Library, or recover from the previous night with an easy afternoon in Germia Park.
Midtown Prishtina Stays offers suites and rooms for guests who want a comfortable city base between festival nights. Direct communication also makes arrival planning easier during a weekend when Prishtina is moving at full speed.
